Built by operators.
For API teams.

FastRestful exists because API products deserve the same coherence as the products built on top of them. One system for the catalog, the contract, the request, the money, the content, and the people operating it.

01Coherence over checklist features

A marketplace that does not know about releases, or billing that does not know about subscriptions, creates operational drag. FastRestful connects the workflows instead of shipping a pile of unrelated screens.

02Evidence over confidence

Provider webhooks settle money. Live contracts are immutable. Audit events are append-only. The platform should be able to show what happened, not just claim that it did.

03Ownership over lock-in

FastRestful is self-hosted. Your database, storage, payment accounts, and identity provider remain yours. The product should make good defaults easy without taking away control.

How we build

Boring infrastructure is a feature.

We prefer explicit state, reversible operations, and visible failure modes over clever abstractions.

State machines

  • Releases
  • Subscriptions
  • Invoices
  • Payouts
  • Moderation
  • Provider events

Boundaries

  • Tenant isolation
  • Public/private serializers
  • Server-side permissions
  • Key custody
  • Provider signatures
  • Gateway SSRF guard

Evidence

  • Audit events
  • Request logs
  • Usage events
  • Ledger entries
  • Webhook receipts
  • Exports

Operator UX

  • Permission-aware admin
  • Decision queues
  • Preview before publish
  • Clear empty states
  • Copy-ready commands
  • Deployment checks
What FastRestful is not

Not a thinner wrapper around someone else's platform.

No fake marketplace data, no hidden gateway, no forced payment provider, no managed-content dependency for the frontend to boot.

NOT 01

Not just a proxy.

Gateway policy matters, but it is only one layer. The contract, docs, plans, billing, support, and control plane share the same product boundary.

NOT 02

Not a docs theme.

The docs are connected to releases, endpoint contracts, and the tester — not a separate static site that drifts from the API.

NOT 03

Not a black box.

Operators can inspect request history, audit events, provider receipts, deployment health, and the exact configuration source for a gateway.

Built by Dakidarts

Design and engineering for products that need to hold up.

FastRestful is built by Dakidarts, a product design and engineering studio. We care about the details that make infrastructure legible: typography, state, evidence, and the paths people actually take.

DEFAULT TO EVIDENCE
Make the safe path visible.

Make the unsafe path explicit.

Make recovery boring.
